Would you also like to test how vital you are? After two years, Seniorenvereniging Beek en Donk is holding another Vitality Day at the Ontmoetingscentrum on Monday 29 April. You will gain more insight into your health, vitality and lifestyle. The focus of the Vitality Day is on feeling vital yourself in the broadest sense of the word. Participants are in control and visit various components (measuring stations) in pairs in the areas of exercise, nutrition, seeing and hearing, oral care, meaning and planning for the future. A Smartfloor is present that measures your possible fall risks. It concludes with a well-being talk by the village support worker and a volunteer from KBO-Brabant. Attention to a good conversation is at least as important as numbers and test results. Participants receive the participant booklet with the scores and recommendations after the measurement. There are also all kinds of leaflets providing more information.

All seniors from Beek en Donk, whether members or not, from 50 years of age are welcome. So also those dependent on a wheelchair or walker. A maximum of 60 seniors can participate. They will go through the 10 stations in three groups of 20 (10 pairs), 10 minutes each. They will start at 10am, 12.45pm and 2.45pm. For everything to run smoothly, it is necessary to register for this. This can be done by submitting your details (name, age, e-mail address, phone number(s) and member yes/no) by 10 April via e-mail. Please indicate your preferred time. They will then try to take this into account as much as possible. You can also sign up during the walk-in in the Waterpoort on 9 April. A schedule will be drawn up and you will be notified when you are expected. For more information, see the website.
