Our accommodation is located in the middle of National Park De Peel. You will find this group accommodation right between De Mariapeel and De Deurnesche Peel on the border of Limburg and North Brabant.
This makes the Oranjehoeve the ideal base for all kinds of fun activities in De Peel.
Of course the Oranjehoeve is an excellent starting point for a walk or cycling tour. There are various cycling and walking routes along the Oranjehoeve. Put on your walking shoes and you will walk straight into one of the most beautiful hiking areas. Grab your bike and you will immediately join one of the beautiful routes in the region: 'De Peel'. Are you unable to bring a bicycle? You can rent a bicycle or solex in the area.
In addition, there are also countless other activities to choose from in the area. Visit an amusement park, go for a swim or spend the day shopping; it’s all possible in the area.
De Hoeve (the farmhouse)
Would you rather stay 'at home'? No problem, even then you will find there is enough to do for the whole family. De Hoeve is spacious with plenty of room and entertainment both inside and out.Outside there is a jeux de boules court, a football and volleyball field, a swing, a seesaw for children and even a trampoline! There is also the possibility to take a seat and relax on the terrace, at the back of the field barn or by a campfire.
When the weather is bad, you move to the cozy living room. There you will find a sitting area with a television, plenty board games or puzzles and also a selection of (reading) books about the Peel and from the Peel. (mostly Dutch)
De Hoeve has been completely renovated and is equipped with every luxury. A spacious sitting room, a kitchen, a storage room with sufficient space and finally, of course; the bedrooms, each with its own bathroom. A lot of time and energy has also been put into the design and it shows immediately! De Hoeve has a layout that matches its environment: nature! All 8 rooms have their own name and corresponding decoration. For example, you sleep 'In the Meadow' or 'On the Bridge'. Always wanted to sleep 'Between the Cows'? A bedroom has also been decorated in that theme.
